BIG IMPACT.
We deploy SimpleAQ air monitors across Licking County to measure air quality. These open-source devices are about the size of a brick and are installed on houses, schools, fire stations and nursing homes. They continuously measure key pollutants including particulate matter, VOCs, sulfur oxides and local weather conditions.
All data is public, real-time, and community-owned. It is independent of corporate or government control.

From hosting an air monitor to funding data analysis, every contribution helps protect our air and builds the independent data record our county deserves.

GET A MONITOR
Request an air quality monitor to be installed at your home or property. You'll join a network of community sentinels building a real-time picture of local air quality. No technical skill required, just a location and a willingness to help.

VOLUNTEER
We have six active focus areas and need people with diverse backgrounds from data science to community organizing. See the open roles below and reach out to join a talented volunteer team making a real difference in Licking County.

HOST A SPEAKER
Invite Community Air Monitoring-Licking County to speak to your congregation, neighborhood association, Rotary club or community group. The more people who understand what's at stake, the greater the impact of our monitoring.

Community Air Monitoring - Licking County accepts tax-deductible donations through our fiscal sponsor, the Buckeye Environmental Network. Every dollar donated is invested in sensors, data infrastructure, and community outreach.
